Tyler Coleiro was an avid player and fan of many sports, including soccer, rugby, basketball, and, most of all, hockey. Throughout minor hockey as a Mount Brydges Cougar, Tyler played with the #3 on his back. He faithfully followed the Pittsburgh Penguins and his idol, Sidney Crosby. With this, the number "873" was born. The combination of Sidney's number and his own, and those close to him knew him to sign "TyCo873" on everything.
On October 25, 2019, at the age of 18, Tyler was tragically taken from us in an automobile accident, and his loss is far-reaching.
As a son, a brother, a friend, or a teammate, Tyler always had your back, and if you were within his circle, you were there for life.
Today, we honour Tyler by continuing his passion for sports and promoting involvement in minor sports. The very same involvement that our family built such loving friendships through.
Each year, the Tyler Coleiro Foundation supports our hockey campers with leadership awards, and we proudly support the Foundation with fundraising camp opportunities.
