Girls Mini-Camp - July 2-4

Summer Sports Academy is thrilled to announce the first-ever Girls Only Summer Hockey Camp in Komoka, an initiative dedicated to empowering young female athletes. This camp will mimic our popular Main Camp and we hope to expand it to a full week next year.  Our camp provides a unique opportunity for girls to sharpen their skills, build confidence, and foster a love for the game in an encouraging and supportive environment. With expert coaching from experienced professionals, participants will engage in training sessions that cover everything from skating and stickhandling to teamwork and strategy. Beyond the rink, the camp also emphasizes personal development in leadership, resilience, and sportsmanship. Join us in celebrating women's hockey and inspiring the next generation of female players!

Girls Camp 2025 - July 2- 4   (3 Days) (30 skaters + 4 goalies)

Age Groups  -  Ages 10 - 13

Daily Schedule 

8:30 - 8:45 Drop-off 

9:15 - 10:45 am — On-ice session

10:45 - 12:15 pm — Off-ice conditioning

12:15 - 1:00 pm — Lunch 

1:15 - 2:45 pm — On-ice session

2:45 - 4:15 pm — Off-ice sport

4:15 - 4:45 pm — Wrap-up Activity/Pick-up

All campers are expected to have the basic skills to engage in hockey drills involving skating, passing and shooting. 

Camp Highlights 

 3 hours of on-ice hockey instruction each day. 

• Professional and experienced instructors/teachers with over 30 years of experience working with kids. Including a goalie instructor.

• 1 hour of off-ice conditioning (agility, speed, strength, coordination/balance and power). 

• Skill introduction and development in other sports such as basketball, volleyball, lacrosse, football, badminton and golf. 

• Safe and fun environment focusing on goal setting, teamwork and leadership.
